Stem cells are collected from the skin behind the patient's ears. The mixture of stem cells that is collected has the ability to develop into different types of cells in the body. These cells can renew and divide, and they can either remain stem cells or grow into new hair cells. This therapy is helpful in restoring and replacing damaged tissues, as well as triggering hair production and growth.
This procedure is performed using a punch biopsy under local anesthesia. A circular blade is rotated into the skin to obtain a cylindrical sample of tissue for the mixture with PRP/GRP or serum fluid. The mixture containing stem cells is then applied to the area with hair loss to trigger hair production. The number of sessions required depends on the severity of the hair loss, and patients may need additional rounds between 6 to 9 months.
This treatment is effective for;
Stem cell hair treatment can stimulate hair growth, repair damaged hair, and provide protection to newly grown hair. One of the significant benefits of micro grafts is that they can protect against future hair loss for patients who are predisposed to it. Therefore, autologous stem cell treatment should be used alongside hair implanting procedures to prevent future hair loss.
Micro grafts can be used in combination with other treatments depending on the patient's condition. For instance, if a patient has a skin problem such as seborrheic dermatitis or is experiencing hair loss due to a deficiency in minerals and vitamins, these issues should be addressed simultaneously for a better aesthetic outcome.
Treatments can be repeated 6 months after the first session if the patient requires a touch-up. Supported with PRP and hair mesotherapy for nourishment of the hairy skin and for the protection against hair loss.
Duration- 34-45min
Recovery-Immediate
No of sessions-1, but maintenance treatment can be done after 6 months if required
Pain- Local Anesthesia
Autologous Micrograft Cell Treatment is a cutting-edge regenerative therapy primarily used for hair restoration. It leverages the patient's own stem cells extracted from the skin behind their ears to stimulate hair growth and repair damaged hair follicles. Here's a breakdown of the key elements
Procedure
1. Stem Cell Extraction:
o A small skin sample is taken from behind the ear using a punch biopsy under local anesthesia.
o The sample is processed to extract a mixture of stem cells capable of regenerating tissue.
2. Preparation and Application:
o The stem cell mixture is combined with Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), Growth Factor-Rich Plasma (GRP), or a serum fluid.
o This regenerative solution is then injected into the scalp's affected areas to trigger hair production and repair.
For 6-8 hours post-treatment, do not massage or rub the area. Patients should not swim or shower for at least 8 hours after the procedure. Avoid strenuous exercise, smoking, and exposure to extreme heat or cold for 3 days. Ensure you drink plenty of water for hydration and eat healthy meals for nourishment.
Stem cell treatment is a method used to repair hair loss and regenerate hair cell production using the patient’s own stem cells, which are obtained from the back of the ear. These stem cells have multipotent capabilities, which allow them to grow into new hair cells and prevent baldness.
The treatment is performed under local anesthesia, so patients will not feel any pain. No recovery time is required, and patients can return to their daily activities immediately.
